Exmouth club’s karate kid search

The martial arts club, which is looking for children aged eight or over, teenagers and adults to join, has invited spectators to watch demonstrations, training sessions and to learn karate techniques at Exmouth's Cranford Sports Club on Wednesday, April 26, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Afterwards, there will be refreshments, with instructors and members available to chat about this traditional Japanese martial art.

Leah Moorby, unbeaten domestically since November 2012, owes a lot to her club coach Kathy Hook now she has entered the full-time environment The Keighley teenager has completed her first month as part of the Great Britain Taekwondo World Class Performance Centre in Manchester, with selection being part of the UK Sport-funded Fighting Chance initiative. Former Cougars player and coach Gary featured at the top level of domestic rugby league for Leeds and St Helens but was always part-time.

Regardless of what the UFC commentary team and promotional machine would have you believe, Waterson is a natural 105-pounder and it was her dominant win over the UFC's golden girl Paige Vanzant that got her this potential number-1 contender matchup against Namajunas.
