Local karate club co-hosts national tournament

Members of the Port Elgin Karate Club competed well at a recent national meet in Owen Sound that it co-hosted. The Owen Sound Nihon Itosu Kai Karate Club and the Port Elgin Karate Club hosted the National Shito Ryu Itosu Karate Tournament at the East Ridge Community School in Owen Sound Nov. 17. One hundred and fifteen competitors from clubs in Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec competed.
