Clubs celebrating WUKF World Karate Championships titles success

Cheshire Martial Arts Centre's Joel Eccleston, 12, and Oliver Smith, 16, won gold medals in kata while representing England SSKA in the Dundee event. Eccleston , along with clubmate Ben Hutson-Redfearn , added silver successes, while there were bronzes for Grace Barnett and Rio Johnson .

Students achieve next belt levels

On June 27, Logan Goddard and Jaden Robb advanced to their next belt levels through The Family Martial Arts Center and the Kempo Karate Organization. While building confidence and character skills in their journey, each student met several individual challenges which included weapons training, ground defense training, physical conditioning, hand to hand defensive and offensive training and many other techniques and aspects of the martial arts.

FIFA World Cup 2018: Stopped in 1998, Croatia ‘want more’ now

It is said that Zvonimir Boban 's karate kick launched the Croatian war of independence. During a match between Red Star Belgrade of Serbia and Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia, in May 1990, AC Milan star Boban became involved in a fight with a Yugoslav policeman who was beating up a Zagreb fan.
